About Dr. Zaslav:

Kenneth Zaslav, MD is internationally known for his expertise in sports medicine, cartilage restoration and conditions of the knee and shoulder. Among his many distinctions, he is board certified in orthopaedic surgery, and has completed a fellowship in sports medicine at NYU and served as shoulder fellow at Lennox Hill Hospital. Along with serving as Past President of Advanced Orthopaedics, Dr. Zaslav is also a Clinical Professor at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University, and the current President of The International Cartilage Repair Society. He has been a visiting professor in medical schools in China, Chile, Mexico and Venezuela. He is currently affiliated with St. Francis Hospital in Richmond, Virginia and is a Castle Connolly Best Doctor in Orthopaedic Surgery.
