OrthoVirginia Offices

Dr. Wells Stewart specializes in hip and knee replacement. He chose his specialty because hip and knee replacement are two of the most successful surgeries at improving patient quality of life and because he wants to help patients get back to being active. Dr. Stewart was drawn to the technical precision required for a well-done joint replacement.  He is particularly interested in utilizing advanced technology, such as robotic assisted surgery, to improve patient outcomes. Originally from the small town of Elkin, NC, Dr. Stewart loves spending time with his wife and young daughter. He enjoys training his Labrador retriever to compete in retriever hunt tests and field trails, is an avid duck hunter, a lifelong sports fan, and a cooking enthusiast, especially when it comes to barbecue.
