VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., Sept. 1, 2019 – OrthoVirginia is pleased to announce Wayne Chen, MD, has joined OrthoVirginia in Virginia Beach. Dr. Chen specializes in hand, wrist and elbow care.
Dr. Chen attended Duke University for his undergraduate education and earned his medical degree from Wake Forest University. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, and went on to do a specialized fellowship in hand/upper extremity and microvascular surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Hamot.
Dr. Chen has won several awards for his surgical expertise and has had multiple publications and presentations at national and international meetings of orthopedic surgeons.

Dr. Chen joined the practice September 1, 2019 and is now accepting new patients in the Virginia Beach office.
