Jill Howson graduated from the University of Montana in 1996 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and completed her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy in 1998. She relocated with her family to Virginia from the state of Washington in 2008. She has worked within her passion of orthopedics since graduation and sees patients at our St. Francis Medical Pavilion location. Jill has consulted in the development of a total joint center and was an instructor for community education pre-joint seminars. She enjoys working with a variety of musculoskeletal dysfunctions and believes strongly in patient education with incorporation of various manual and therapeutic exercise techniques for functional gains. She has enjoyed working with a variety of local youth athletes to achieve their goals for return to sports, and incorporates dynamic activities, pilates and speed and agility training into many patient programs. In her free time she enjoys watching her two sons play sports, spending time with her two black labs, rooting for her favorite sports teams and exploring hiking in the commonwealth.
