As an important branch of orthopaedics, pediatrics focuses on the many facets of bone and joint problems in the growing child. Whether suffering from a playground injury or dealing with a congenital issue, children many times have unique orthopaedic needs and concerns that make their course of treatment different from that of adults. And, with bones that are still maturing, these young patients and their families deserve special attention and compassionate care.
Our board certified, orthopaedic surgeons treat children with acute orthopaedic injuries, congenital and acquired deformities including scoliosis and other orthopaedic problems specific to the child. Dr. Christopher Kim also treats children with cerebral palsy, spina bifida as well as spinal cord injuries and other neuromuscular conditions.
