OrthoVirginia is pleased to announce the association of Cole Taylor, MD in Northern Virginia. Dr. Taylor specializes in non-operative general orthopedics and sports medicine.
Dr. Taylor attended the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO for his undergraduate education and earned his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where he was chief resident. He went on to do a specialized fellowship in primary care sports medicine at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD.
Dr. Taylor earned 19 United States Air Force Service medals and ribbons over 13 years of active duty service as a physician. He was a celebrated leader and innovator in military sports - sports medicine and brings his experience to OrthoVirginia.
“We are delighted Dr. Taylor is joining OrthoVirginia,” said Justin Zakia, Chief Administrative Officer, OrthoVirginia North. “His sports-medicine expertise and his experience with non-operative treatments such as stem-cell therapy and regenerative medicine are a welcome addition to our practice,” he added.
Dr. Taylor joined the practice June 3, 2019 and is now accepting new patients in the offices in McLean, Fairfax, and Burke.
