FAIRFAX, Va., April 13, 2020 – Given the unprecedented public health crisis, OrthoVirginia is shifting to offer urgent orthopedic care access in five locations effective Wednesday, March 25, 2020. By reserving in-person access to OrthoVirginia clinics for patients in urgent or immediate orthopedic need, OrthoVirginia aims to keep those patients out of the emergency rooms and urgent cares where they would be at heightened risk for acquiring and spreading the COVID-19 virus.

The following clinic locations will be open Monday – Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.:

Arlington: 1635 N. George Mason Drive Suite 310, Arlington, Virginia 22205

Reston: 1850 Town Center Parkway, Suite 400, Reston, Virginia 20190

Springfield: 6355 Walker Lane, Suite 202, Alexandria, Virginia 22310

These locations will see urgent orthopedic conditions such as broken bones; knee injuries; foot and ankle injuries; hand & wrist injuries; slips, trips and falls; sprains and strains, and sports injuries.

“OrthoVirginia is here to support the safety and wellbeing of patients during this pandemic,” said Dr. Ben Kittredge, “it is our responsibility to provide those with urgent orthopedic injuries access as well as ease the burden on our emergency departments.”
