A native of Northern Virginia, Michelle attended George Mason University for her undergraduate studies, earning a B.S. in Biology. She then moved on to Shenandoah University where she earned a Masters of Physical Therapy in 2001, and later a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2004.
Michelle earned her Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) credential through the Maitland Australian Physiotherapy Seminars in 2007. She has also had additional training in techniques including McKenzie, Jones strain-counterstrain, Integrative Manual Therapy, myofascial release, Pilates-based rehab exercises, treatment of SI joint dysfunctions, functional exercises, and higher level sport agility/plyometric exercises.
As an enthusiastic recreational triathlete, Michelle competes in races regularly and is a member of USA Triathlon. Other activities Michelle enjoys include waterskiing, wakeboarding, hiking, reading, and traveling. She also loves relaxing and spending time with her husband, two daughters, family, and friends.
