Barbara Kapas, PT, DPT, COMT, CIDN


Barbara has over 25 years of Physical Therapy experience with the majority of those years in orthopedic practice. She is originally from Chicago, Ill and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from St Louis University.  She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Barbara is a former instructor in the Physical Therapist Assistant program at College of DuPage and was on their Academic Advisory Board. Her expanded clinical knowledge encompasses acute care, pediatrics, neuro, geriatrics, polytrama, home health, rehab yoga and sports medicine.

Barbara is certified in Integrated Dry Needling (IDN) for pain management and Sports Rehab. Her postgraduate training includes Graston Techniques training (GT). She recently received extensive training to become Clinically Certified in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (COMPT).

Barbara’s extensive clinical experiences and postgraduate training provides her with the background and innovative thought process to blend various treatment techniques on complex orthopedic issues.
