Dr. Peter Vonderau is a physiatrist who specializes in interventional spine procedures and electrodiagnostic medicine. He graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and later went on to medical school at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota where he served as chief resident. Having dealt with low back pain for several years, he strives to help patients regain their maximum function through a multifaceted approach while minimizing the use of medications. He performs various spinal procedures, including cervical and lumbar epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections, sacroiliac joint injections, and radiofrequency ablation. Dr. Vonderau enjoys spending time outdoors with his family. He is an avid cyclist and billiards player.
