Dr. Matthew Jones is a fellowship-trained hand and upper extremity surgeon, applying both operative and non-operative techniques to treat conditions of the hand, wrist, and elbow. Dr. Jones chose to become a hand surgeon because of his interest in the complex anatomy of the hand and the variety of patients he has the opportunity to help. Hand surgery encompasses a wide range of orthopedic problems, including sports medicine, arthritis, pediatrics, tumor, and trauma.
Philosophy of care:
With Dr. Jones, listening to patients is his first priority. He believes everyone deserves to be heard, and that listening to his patients is more important than any test he can order. Dr. Jones enjoys developing a relationship with his patients, giving them as much information as he can, so patients can make informed decisions about their care. Dr. Jones considers it a great privilege to work side-by-side with patients, helping them get back to their jobs and what they love to do.
