Kristin is the Director of OrthoVirginia Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program. She graduated from Duke University before completing an orthopedic residency with The Jackson Clinics. She is a board-certified specialist in orthopedics and in sports. She has a strong background in competitive figure skating and dance and has worked closely with these communities to provide PT services, consultation, education and injury prevention screenings over the years. Kristin is knowledgeable in using movement analysis software and is able to perform analysis for all athletes including figure skating, gymnastics, dance, runners, tennis and baseball players in their respective environments. Kristin grew up as a ballerina turned figure skater and has the background and training to understand the demands on the body to perform athletic movements with finesse. She started coaching figure skating at age 16 and continues to coach private lessons and synchro teams in the area. She has 10 National Championship titles with her Adult and Masters teams on DC EDGE Synchronized Skating Team. She has also completed multiple half-marathons and is an avid [Solidcore] client with over 750 classes.
