Kerri L. Layman, MD

Dr. Layman is the Medical Director of OrthoVirginia’s Ortho On Call orthopedic urgent care centers and an emergency medicine physician. She chose emergency medicine because she enjoys seeing a variety of patients and likes being able to help patients when they need it most. She appreciates that emergency medicine encourages you to be a lifetime learner and enjoys that it is a team effort.

In her free time, Dr. Layman likes to spend time with her family, often on the water in the Chesapeake Bay. Dr. Layman also does a variety of athletic activities, including hot yoga, skiing, paddle boarding and walking her dog.
