Johnathon grew up in a military family, spending his early years stationed overseas. He returned to the States and graduated from Norfolk Collegiate High School before heading to the University of Richmond. After working for several years as a paramedic in Richmond, he moved to Atlanta to attend the physician assistant program at Emory University School of Medicine before returning to Richmond to practice in the emergency department. He has worked with the Jefferson College of Health Sciences as a faculty member within their physician assistant program and assisted in developing the physician assistant program at South University in Glen Allen, VA. before returning to orthopedics. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling to the mountains and the seashore. Johnathon also loves teaching and lecturing, recently completing his Doctor of Medical Science from the University of Lynchburg in 2020.
