Non-operative Lisfranc fracture/dislocation treatment

A Lisfranc fracture or dislocation is broken or dislocated bones in the middle of the foot. If all the bones are in the right position, a cast may be used instead of surgery.

A Lisfranc fracture or dislocation is an injury to the bones in the middle of the foot. If the bones aren’t moved out of place and the ligaments aren’t completely torn, then you can wear a cast instead of having surgery.

After the cast is removed, you may need to have a special arch support in your shoes to prevent problems in the future. You may also have physical therapy to regain strength in your foot.
