Computer assisted total knee arthroplasty

Computer assisted total knee arthroplasty is using a computerized system to help with a total knee replacement. The surgeon is in full control, but the system assists in the surgery.

The computer system creates a 3D model of the knee in the computer, and allows the surgeon to be more precise by helping to measure where to cut and where to position the implant.

Just like after all knee replacements, you will need to use crutches or a walker at first and will need physical therapy.
