Athlete's foot treatment

Athlete's foot is a common fungal infection on the foot. It can often be treated by an over-the-counter cream. If the over-the-counter treatment doesn't work, a stronger medication may be prescribed.

Athlete’s foot causes itching on your foot and rough skin between your toes. It is usually caught from shared damp areas such as locker rooms and swimming pools. Wearing flip-flops in locker rooms and otherwise not going barefoot in shared spaces can help prevent you from getting it.
