Arthroscopic rotator cuff surgery

Arthroscopic rotator cuff surgery is a minimally invasive technique to repair tears or other problems with the rotator cuff in the shoulder.

The rotator cuff holds your shoulder in position, and if it is torn your arm won’t function correctly.

With an arthroscopic surgery, the surgeon makes small incisions in your skin and uses tiny instruments, including a camera, to do the surgery.

After the surgery you may have to wear a sling and may have other restrictions on what you can do with your arm. You will have physical therapy to regain strength and range of motion in your arm.
