Anterior and posterior scoliosis fusion

Anterior and posterior scoliosis fusion is a technique for fusing the bones in your spine together to help correct scoliosis. Scoliosis is when the bones in your spine are curved sideways instead of vertical like they are supposed to be. In this technique, the surgeon will work on your spine from both the back and the front.

This technique may be used if the scoliosis is very bad or if a previous surgery did not work.

After surgery you may need to have physical therapy.
