OrthoVirginia is actively recruiting a part-time certified athletic trainer for its Community Youth Club Athletic Trainer Coordinator position. This position will act as OrthoVirginia’s community outreach contact with local youth sport teams.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Managing the dedicated phone line for community youth club athletes and their families to facilitate orthopaedic appointment scheduling with a provider of the parent’s choosing.
- Coordinating educational programs for youth club athletes and families in conjunction with the marketing department.
- Working with OrthoVirginia physicians and coaches regarding injury prevention programs.
The schedule for this position will be 26 hours per week, working Monday through Friday 5:00 – 9:00 PM and Saturday 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. The position will be based in OrthoVirginia North’s Administrative office (located in Fairfax, VA) with travel locally to community sporting events.

Basic qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree with a certification in Athletic Training (ATC). Ideal candidates will have at least one year of related experience, strong customer service skills, exceptional organization and communication skills, and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
