Basic qualifications include: H.S. diploma, medical office experience required, general knowledge of health insurance process, fundamental computer and multi-line phone skills. Ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience working in a medical office, be professional, organized, and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

The Patient Access Representatives provide exceptional patient service by answering, responding, and routing a high volume of incoming calls from patients, physicians, hospitals, staff and other callers. They ensure a positive first impression of OrthoVirginia for all callers who are new to the practice and sustain that experience through future interactions with the call center. They also ensure quality and continuity of service by adhering to established appointment access protocols.
