Mona Elsayed, OTR/L

Mona is a licensed occupational therapist (OT) who specializes in rehabilitation of the upper extremities. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2016, and she achieved her master’s degree in occupational therapy from Howard University in 2019. As a graduate student, she completed her extensive capstone research on upper extremity rehabilitation, working directly with patients to determine barriers to functional outcomes and strategies to improve their physical state. Mona specializes in hand therapy, and she has experience with fractures, muscle strains, joint and tendon repairs, amputations, and nerve damage. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and traveling. She also enjoys being creative through various mediums whether that be through fashion, creating artwork, or interior design.
