Fellowship trained orthopaedic trauma surgeons have an expertise in management of fractures including those in patients with multiple orthopaedic injuries (polytrauma), fractures involving joint surfaces (articular fractures), long-bone fractures, complex fractures of the foot and ankle, and pelvic and acetabular fractures. In addition, these surgeons receive additional training in the treatment of fractures that have healed in an unacceptable alignment (malunions), fractures that have not healed (nonunions), traumatic bone loss or defects, limb-length inequalities, and post-traumatic infections.
Our fellowship trained and board certified trauma specialist has years of education and experience treating complex traumatic injuries and post-traumatic orthopaedic conditions.
