Steve Wiley, PT, ATC

Stephen joined the staff at OrthoVirginia-Lynchburg in 2007. Prior to joining the staff in Lynchburg, Steve worked in Richmond, VA at Chippenham Sports Medicine clinic and assisted with the rehabilitation of student-athletes at the University of Richmond athletic training room. He subsequently joined the athletic training staff at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC. He worked on a day to day basis as an assistant athletic trainer with Men’s Soccer. He also served as the rehabilitation coordinator for all the varsity student-athletes at Wake Forest. While working with the Men’s Soccer team, they won two regular-season ACC championships, had two appearances in the College Cup, and won a National Championship.

Steve’s sports medicine experience includes working with the US Men’s Indoor Field Hockey team. He provided coverage for that team at the Pan Am Games and the World Cup in Leipzig, Germany during the course of 2002–2003. Currently, Steve is working with Liberty University in the Athletic Training room providing physical therapy services for their varsity athletes.

Outside of work Steve enjoys spending time with his family and their athletic pursuits, hiking, and being outdoors.
