Dr. David W. Lee specializes in upper extremity surgery, from shoulder to fingertip. His goal as an orthopedist is to get patients back to doing the activities they love and to help them live pain-free. Dr. Lee discusses all possible options with patients, including therapy, injections, bracing, and surgery if needed. He enjoys forming meaningful relationships with his patients, answering their questions, and helping them through their injuries.
Dr. Lee specializes in orthopedic surgery of the upper extremity, from shoulder to fingertip. A native of New Jersey, Dr. Lee studied neuroscience at New York University, graduating magna cum laude. He attended the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, where he became interested in orthopedic surgery. Dr. Lee then completed orthopedic surgery residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, where he was selected as a Chief Resident. Afterwards, he completed upper extremity/microsurgery fellowship at the University of California Irvine, with the departments of orthopedic and plastic surgery. Dr. Lee continues to attend conferences, meetings, and courses to stay up to date with the latest evidence and techniques.
Dr. Lee is an Eagle Scout and loves the outdoors in addition to caring for his community. He enjoys road biking and has cycled across the country from East to West coast, while building affordable housing along the way. In his free time, Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with his lovely wife, traveling, hiking, running, and cycling.
