Basic qualifications include a high school diploma, some college preferred. The desired candidate should have at least three years of experience with patient and insurance billing with progressive responsibility for coding. This is a fast-paced environment that requires an individual with strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task. Strong customer service skills a must.
OrthoVirginia is recruiting an experienced patient billing liaison to join its energetic team of dedicated and committed employees in our central billing office in Fairfax, VA (near Fair Oaks). The department provides billing services for OrthoVirginia’s physician offices, physical therapy facilities and ambulatory surgery centers.
Position will be the liaison between the patients and the patient accounting office and will work toward ensuring efficiency and excellent customer service. Position is responsible for answering billing inquiries from patients and office staff at all locations and assisting the medical secretaries with various aspects of the billing cycle.
