Plan your visit

To make your appointment as efficient as possible, please follow these guidelines:

  • Plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment to allow time for traffic and paperwork, and to prevent long waits.
  • Bring your insurance card and government-issued photo ID.
  • Masks are optional. You are welcome to wear a mask, and if you ask the staff and providers who work with you will wear a mask as well.
  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows access to your injury or area in pain.
  • Bring any splint, brace, or other types of medical device you may have for your injury.
  • Due to severe allergies of patients and staff, please do not wear scented perfumes, colognes, or lotions to your appointment.

Office is in the same building as Charles Schwab, across Ballenger from Starbucks and across John Caryle Street from 7-Eleven.

Parking

Free parking available in underground garage located off of John Carlyle Street behind 1920 Ballenger Ave building. The garage does not require you to take a ticket. A map of the location is below.

From John Caryle Street, turn into the alleyway between a public parking garage and the office building. The entrance to the alleyway looks like a loading dock and is directly across from Sweet Fire Donna’s outdoor seating area. See photo of entrance below.

After you turn into the alley way, proceed straight towards the load docks. After you’ve passed the metal railing on the right, you’ll see the opening for the garage. Parking for OrthoVirginia patients available on P2 and P3. Please only park in spaces that are indicated with an orange OrthoVirginia sign. Detailed driving instructions available below the map and photo.

Finding your way

Once you’ve parked, take the garage elevator to the 1st floor.

  • Appointment with orthopedics and/or therapy: Once on the lobby/first floor level, exit the elevator, cross the lobby to the set of elevators and go to the second floor. Clinic and therapy are in suite 200.
  • Appointment with pain management: Once on the lobby/first floor level, exit the elevator and turn left. Suite 107 will be on the left.

Driving directions

  • Turn into the alleyway from John Carlyle Street.
    • From Eisenhower Avenue, turn left onto John Carlyle Street. Once you’ve passed the paid public parking garage on the left, turn left into the alleyway.
    • From Duke Street, turn onto John Carlyle Street, process around John Carlyle Square Park, then make the second right to continue on John Carlyle Street. After the first stop sign, make the first right into the alleyway.
    • From Ballenger Avenue: Turn south on John Carlyle Street and make the first right into the alleyway.
