Turn Off MyChart Two-Step Verification

Two-step verification, also called two-factor authentication, is an important way to keep your personal information safe in your MyChart account. However, if you would like to remove it, please follow these steps.

  1. When you log into MyChart after two-step verification is turned on, there will be a screen to set it up. Click the link at the bottom of the screent that says “Turn off two-step verification”.
  2. A window will come up checking that you are sure you want to turn off this important security feature. If you would like to turn it off, click “Turn off (unsafe)”.
  3. A confirmation screen will occur, and you may click “Continue” to proceed into MyChart.
