Tyrone “Ty” grew up in Colorado and attended Denver technical College for an AA in Sports medicine technology before moving to the Washington DC area. He attended Howard University and earned both his BS in Health science and his Masters in Physical Therapy in1998. “Ty” has always believed in hands on patient care and continues to focus his training in manual therapy especially in integrative manual therapy. After extensive training he received his Manual Therapy Certification (MTC) from the University of St Augustine in 2007. Ty has practiced in outpatient orthopedics and sports for 14 years. He has practiced in the home care setting with a diverse population of medical diagnosis. Special interests are in manual therapy treatment for concussions functional restoration and treatment of the spine, foot and ankle, and shoulder. When not treating patients Ty is with his wife and their three children. He is a youth sports coach in basketball and flag football, and enjoys working with all athletes from little ankle biters to professionals.
