Originally from Upstate New York, Sara earned her B.S. in Occupational Therapy in 1998 from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She began her career in North Carolina as an OT in inpatient rehabilitation, but quickly specialized in hand therapy, earning her Certification in Hand Therapy in 2004.
Sara and her family have spent the last decade moving around the country and overseas for her husband’s career. She is happy return to Northern Virginia, a place she considers her second home, and continue her practice in hand therapy as part of the team at OrthoVirginia.
Sara and her husband have three daughters, who keep them busy with soccer, dance classes and music lessons. During her downtime, Sara enjoys reading, traveling and family time with her girls.
