Noelle is a Hand Therapist/Physical Therapist at OrthoVirginia’s Lynchburg location. She received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University in 1990. Noelle began her career in hand therapy early on, working in the Springfield Massachusetts area, fortunate to learn and develop her skills from nationally recognized therapists and surgeons. She went on to successfully complete the requirements to become a Certified Hand Therapist in 1996. She also earned her Master of Science with a special focus on Allied Health Education at the University of Connecticut in 1997. She has co-authored a textbook on splint-making along with various chapters in Physical Therapy textbooks on the topics of upper extremity orthoses and hand/wrist kinesiology. She teaches nationally on the art and science of orthotic (splint) fabrication and has guest lectured in various Physical Therapy programs on the topic of splinting and hand rehabilitation. Prior to moving to Virginia and joining the hand therapy team at OrthoVirginia in 2015, she worked for 17 years in a hand surgeon’s office in the New Haven Connecticut area. Noelle is an active member of the American Society of Hand Therapists and regularly attends continuing education courses to stay current on therapy techniques. Noelle and her husband reside in Lynchburg with their 2 active teenagers.
