Mark is a physical therapist at OrthoVirginia’s Lynchburg location. He grew up in the Lynchburg area and received his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Liberty University in 2010. Prior to college, Mark served as a Health Care Specialist in the Virginia Army National Guard which included 1 tour of duty to Kosovo in 2006. He went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Lynchburg College in 2015. He is a Licensed Athletic Trainer and member of the American Physical Therapy Association’s Orthopedic and Sports Sections. Mark is a manual based therapist and enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic and sports-related injuries and helping individuals and athletes of all ages and abilities return to their highest level of function. Mark is passionate about his profession and is currently pursuing certifications in manual therapy and orthopedics. Mark is also a Pose Method Running Technique Specialist and enjoys teaching/coaching runners at all levels how to run better with less injury.
Mark is an avid trail runner and outdoors enthusiast. When he is not working or running, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 boys.
