Jennifer attended James Madison University, Harrisonburg VA, where she earned a B.S. in Health Sciences with a minor in Pre-Physical Therapy in 2003. She went on to graduate in 2006 from Marymount University, Arlington VA with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. During her studies at Marymount, Jennifer specialized in sports orthopedics and pediatrics. She also completed a study of uninsured patients with physical therapy needs at the Arlington Free Clinic, in Arlington VA.
Jennifer’s interest in physical therapy began in her teens as an avid athlete. She injured her knee while playing lacrosse and had to have ACL reconstruction in 1999, spurring her desire to become a therapist. Jennifer joined OrthoVirginia in 2006.
In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys anything outdoors, spending time with family, and friends, and traveling.
