Hanne grew up in the wonderful town of Glastonbury, CT and recently moved to the northern Virginia area to be closer to her family. She became interested in physical therapy at the young age of 12 when she had her first of many injuries requiring physical therapy. Growing up in an athletic family, Hanne found her niche in soccer and track and field. She went on to attend Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT where she played 4 years of collegiate soccer. Hanne received a BS in Health Sciences and Studies from Quinnipiac University and went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the same university. She recieved her certification in Selective Functional Movement Assessment in 2013 as well as her certification in advanced Integrative Dry Needling in early 2014. Having many sports related injuries provoked her strong interest in the orthopedic population. She looks forward to exploring the northern VA/DC metropolitan area. She enjoys watching/playing sports, hiking, running, meeting new people and exploring local restaurants.
