Donna has worked at Orthovirginia’s Boulders office for the past year. She has been a physical therapist for over 25 years and joined OrthoVirginia in 2011. She received her Bachelor of Science in Physical therapy in 1989 from Northeastern University, Boston MA. She received her CMTPT (certification in Dry Needling) from Myopain Seminars in 2014. Her primary interests in therapy are muscle imbalances, referred pain, manual therapy and dry needling. She treats her patients with an emphasis on the total patient to achieve maximum function with manual therapy and therapeutic exercise. She emphasizes the manual aspect of therapy with soft tissue mobilization, dry needling and gentle stretching. She enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 sons, yoga, hiking and boating .
