Amanda is originally from Georgia, however, was raised abroad and attended both undergrad and graduate school at Boston University where she completed the 6 year accelerated program for her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2013. She additionally is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine since 2013. She enjoys treating all patients, including orthopedics and neurologic pathologies, and more recently has become interested in treating patients with vestibular disorders such as vertigo and dizziness. Amanda is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and is licensed to practice is both Virginia and Washington DC. She plans to continue to her education to further her knowledge of vestibular pathology as well as a certification in dry needling.
Amanda currently lives in Rosslyn, VA and enjoys traveling around the world, biking, running, cooking, and watching her favorite football teams, the New England Patriots and University of Georgia Bulldogs in her free time.
