Amanda is originally from Georgia, however, was raised abroad and attended both undergraduate and graduate school at Boston University where she completed the 6 year accelerated program for her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2013. She additionally is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine since 2013. She enjoys treating all patients, including orthopedics and neurologic pathologies, and has focused her continuing education on vestibular disorders such as vertigo and dizziness, Kinetacore Functional Dry Needling, and shoulder pain and pathology. Amanda is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and is licensed to practice is both Virginia and Washington DC. She is the Clinic Manager at the Mclean office and has been working for OrthoVirginia since 2015.
Amanda currently lives in Arlington, VA and enjoys traveling around the world, Barre and Pilates classes, cooking, reading, and watching her favorite football team, University of Georgia Bulldogs in her free time.
