Thomas J. Klein, MD
Thanks to my care at OrthoVirginia, I can run, ski, whitewater kayak, mountain bike, and swim long distances.
Prior to the total hip replacements I was limited in my activities, even swimming was painful after 40 minutes. Anything more than a 40-hour work week caused me excruciating pain; I collapsed several times at the office. Five months after my second hip replacement, I ran 6 miles and skied some challenging slopes. I'm looking forward to skiing and Mt. Biking in Utah next month; I suspect I'll leave my fellow 57 year old friends in the Sonoran dust.
