Ben Kittredge, M.D.
President

Dr. Kittredge is an orthopedic surgeon in the Northern Virginia area. Board certified in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine, he attended the University of Virginia for his Bachelor of Arts and Georgetown University for a Master of Science. He received his medical degree from the University of Virginia and did an internship at Roanoke Memorial Hospital before returning to the University of Virginia for his orthopedic surgery residence. Dr. Kittredge completed a fellowship in sports medicine at Jefferson Medical College & Pennsylvania Hospital.


R. Brick Campbell, M.D.
Vice President, East Region

Dr. Campbell is an orthopedic surgeon in Virginia Beach. Board-certified in orthopedic surgery and orthopedic sports medicine, he attended Hamilton College for his bachelor’s degree and the University of Vermont for his medical degree. He did his internship and residency at Brown University and completed a fellowship at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic.


George Aguiar, M.D.
Vice President, North Region

Dr. Aguiar is an orthopedic surgeon in the Northern Virginia area. Board-certified in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine, he received his Bachelor of Science and his medical degree from Georgetown University. His internship and his orthopedic surgery residency were also completed at Georgetown University Medical Center.


Peter A. Caprise, Jr., M.D.
Vice President, West Region

Dr. Caprise is an orthopedic surgeon in the Lynchburg area. Board-certified in orthopedic surgery and orthopedic sports medicine, he attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for his bachelor’s degree. After medical school at the same institution, he also completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Hospitals.


David D. Nedeff, M.D.
Vice President, Central Region

Dr. Nedeff is a knee and shoulder surgeon in Richmond. Board-certified in orthopedic surgery, he attended Indiana University for his undergraduate degree and West Virginia University School of Medicine for his medical degree. He completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center and a sports medicine knee and shoulder surgery fellowship at The Hughston Clinic.


Omar Elkhamra, M.D.

Dr. Elkhamra is a sports medicine specialist in Lynchburg. Board-certified in internal medicine and sports medicine, he attened Beirut Arab University for his medical degree. He completed an internship at Hammoud Hospital University Medicine Center, an orthopedic surgery internship at American University of Beirut Medical Center, and an internal medicine residence at Fairview Hospital, part of the Cleveland Clinic Health System. He completed his sports medicine fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.


Drew E. Kiernan, M.D.

Dr. Kiernan is a hand surgeon in Lynchburg. Board-certified in orthopedic surgeyr, he attended Ithaca College for his Bachelor of Arts in Biology and the State University of New York at Brooklyn for his medical degree. He went to the State University of New York at Syracuse for a general surgery internship and orthopedic surgery residency, and completed a hand surgery fellowship at the University of Florida.


B. Thomas Mazahery, M.D.

Dr. Mazahery is a spine surgeon in Northern Virginia. Board-certified in orthopedic surgery, he received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia. He completed his general surgery internship and orthopedic surgery residency at Northwestern University, and a spine surgery fellowship at Case Western Reserve University.


T. Paul McDermott, Jr., M.D.

Dr. McDermott is a hand surgeon in Richmond. Board-certified in orthopedic surgery with a certificate of added qualifications in hand surgery, he received his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina-Chapell Hill. He attended medical school at the Duke University School of Medicine and residency at Duke University Medical Center, and completed a fellowship at the Indiana Hand Center at Indiana University, Riley Children’s Hospital.


David J. Novak, M.D.

Dr. Novak is an orthopedic surgeon in the Northern Virginia area. Board-certified in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine, he attended the University of Pennsylvania for his bachelor’s degree and Georgetown University for his medical degree. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Georgetown University Medical Center and his sports medicine and arthroscopy fellowship at Southern California Orthopedic Institute.


Jody Smith, M.D.

Dr. Smith is is an orthopedic surgeon in the Richmond area. Board-certified in orthopedic surgery, he attended the University of Virginia for both his undergraduate and medical degrees. He completed his residency at the Medical College of Virginia and a fellowship at Mississippi Sports Medicine.


Michael Wind, M.D.

Dr. Wind is an orthopedic surgeon in the Richmond area. Board-certified in orthopedic surgery, he received his bachelor’s degree from Duke University and his medical degree from the University of Virginia. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Cincinnati and fellowships at the Southern Joint Replacement Institute and Perth Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.
