Kristen grew up in a small town in central Pennsylvania and was involved in many sports including field hockey, basketball, and track. She became interested in physical therapy when she was a patient due to different sports injuries. Kristen attended Juniata College to earn a B.S. in biology and played on the basketball team for 4 years. She then attended Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania to obtain her doctorate in physical therapy.
Kristen moved to Northern Virginia in July of 2009 and joined OrthoVirginia in September of 2009. She has enjoyed treating the wide variety of patients and injuries as well as using a variety of treatments to help patients get back to their active lives, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, dry needling, and Graston Technique.
In her free time, Kristen enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, sports, and spending time with family.
