Elizabeth Medway, MS, OTR/L, CHT

OrthoVirginia Offices

Beginning her career in inpatient rehab in NJ, then moving to VA, Liz began working in acute care at a local hospital with a growing focus on trauma and burn care where she soon discovered a deeper interest in the upper extremity with a desire to specialize. She began orthopedic practice in 2016 and secured her specialization as a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) in 2018. She’s a member of the American Society of Hand Therapists and has clinical training in custom splint fabrication for the upper extremity with additional certifications in kinesiotaping, instrumental and myofascial techniques. Liz is eager to learn and contribute to the field through the use of evidenced based practice, traditional and emerging therapeutic techniques and community outreach. Liz believes it a blessing and a privilege to count herself among such a wonderful group of professionals and when not at work, loves spending time and exploring VA Beach with her husband, 2 young kids and 2 crazy dogs!
