Dr. Douglas Wayne specializes in electrodiagnostic medicine and physiatry (physical medicine and rehabilitation). Majoring in physiology as an undergrad and very interested in anatomy, his specialty. which focuses on how much and which activities a person can do without pain, has been a perfect fit for him. He takes time with his patients to learn about their hobbies, interests, work activities, etc., to help him determine how best to treat them. He has been active in several local organizations, including the Richmond Area Bike Association, Midlothian Tennis Club and the Richmond Ski Club and has held many prominent positions with national organizations relating to his specialty. He enjoys travel, golf, skiing, distance single and tandem biking, and all racquet sports.
