Bracing
The bracing of injuries has been a practice since primitive times – and it has evolved tremendously to include a wide variety of innovative procedures and state-of-the-art equipment. OrthoVirginia is pleased to offer our patients the latest advancements in bracing..
Our team of Certified Orthotic Fitters can provide on-demand support for the fitting and adjustment of custom and off-the-shelf braces. They also educate patients to ensure maximum comfort and proper bracing.
Our mobile, in-house team makes it possible to measure for and fit most braces immediately to within five business days following a physician’s order.
Braces come in many forms, and they may be used for a variety of reasons. They could be offered as an alternative to surgical treatment, for post-operative protection or to provide active support for athletes. Our physicians and bracing specialists will work with you to identify a suitable option based on your specific needs and circumstances.
