Lidia D. Cousins, MPT, is a physical therapist at OrthoVirginia’s St. Francis location. Lidia received her Bachelor of Arts in 1989 from Denison University, where she studied biology and psychology. She later attended graduate school at Old Dominion University, where she earned a Master of Science in physical therapy in 1993. She is certified in the Isernhagen Functional Capacity Evaluation. The vast majority of her experience has been in outpatient orthopedics, where she enjoys helping her patients recover their function after musculoskeletal injury or limitation.
Lidia is currently working towards her Certification in Women's Health/Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation, and plans to head a division in Women's Health Physical Therapy by early 2016 at the St. Francis location. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, including the Section on Women's Health.
